How do I book a course?

We have two types of training options for you. There is our open workshop calendar, which will be perfect if it is just you, or maybe a colleague or two. You will be joined by other people from UK businesses.

We also offer group (in-house) training, for when you have a group of people, all with similar needs and you would like our trainer to come to you. Simply call us to discuss your brief. From there we will put together a detailed proposal featuring a suggested course outline and detailed pricing.

What is the difference between open and in-house workshops?

For our open workshops, we assemble 8-12 people from all sorts of different companies for our presentation skills, sales skills and negotiation skills training. Our satisfaction surveys are excellent – people really love what we provide them with in just a day or two. The advantage of an open workshop is that it’s cost efficient if there are 1-3 of you wanting to be trained. It’s a great networking opportunity and you receive lots of insights about companies who you may be targeting. To view our open workshop calendar please click here. When you are ready to book you can do so online with a credit card or you can call one of our training consultants who will ask you a few questions to determine your needs, and then send you a booking form.

In-house, or group training, is more cost efficient when you have a group of 4 or more people all needing the same type of training. We send one of our experienced trainers out to you, or help you to book an external venue. You can also utilise our excellent boardroom right in the heart of London – at preferential client rates about 30% cheaper than comparable London rooms. Our in-house training is not “off the shelf”, which means every course is bespoke to your brief. We take your brief, and then it goes to our training design team lead by company founder Matt Drought who will design course materials that will exceed your expectations. Click here for a few of the in-house workshops that we have run in the past for our clients.

What is your point of difference as a training company?

The word “natural” is more than a name. It’s a philosophy. In order for training to be successful, it must marry together with your natural style. When you do our training, something just clicks. You will leave the workshop feeling that you can apply the concepts immediately. Our training is interesting. We talk about today’s business world – with lots of examples from your industry. Your management team will be properly consulted to determine what success looks like. And the most important point – your investment in us will be rewarded many times over. We have an enviable ROI record, delivering lots of new business, cost savings and additional profit to our customers since 2005.

How do you determine the natural style of me, or the group from my company?

For corporate training to be successful, we absolutely must know as much about individuals as possible. We send out an e-questionnaire with the joining instructions and talk at length to individuals and managers to determine the types of personalities we will be training. We then match up the training to the individual, ensuring that for example, if someone is introverted by nature, we provide tools that they are comfortable using.

What skills, talents and experiences do your trainers have?

There are two types of trainer: those who preach, and those who practice. We like the latter. Our trainers sell, present and negotiate for a living, and train others to do so as a passion. All of our trainers run their own successful businesses, and have enjoyed careers in the boardrooms of top UK and European companies such as the BBC and the Daily Telegraph. We have trainers with different specialties such as media, logistics, advertising, health, government and many other industries. We will only put a trainer in front of your group if they have a strong background in the industry or they have trained companies from your direct sector.

What is your most popular course?

For Open Workshops, Our Introduction to Sales course is very popular, as it provides a strong “nuts and bolts” overview of sales in just one day.  Natural LIVE is our most popular group training workshop, because it generates actual leads for you and delivers an outstanding ROI. We have a great track record at helping our clients win pitches, with our pitching skills training.

What happens after the training course?

If you come on one of our open workshops you will receive a follow up call from one of our training consultants within two weeks of the training. We provide unlimited email support and the resources section of our website is constantly being updated with articles, videos and podcasts to help you sell, present or negotiate more effectively.

Our In-House training fee includes a detailed follow up plan tailored to your requirements. We call this programme ‘Second Nature’ .  Because if our training doesn’t become second nature for your people, then we have failed.  In order to keep up this momentum, our Second Nature programme sends ongoing reminders, items of interest, challenges and trainer engagement pieces personally addressed to individuals for up to a year after the training.

How do I measure the success of the training?

We regularly say to our clients, “if you can’t measure it, don’t do it”. Sales training in particular must achieve a demonstrable return on your investment. Before the training we will ask you what success looks like. We will benchmark what you are currently achieving, and give you some realistic advice on what you can expect post training. • Closing: favourable deals struck pre and post training

Presentation Skills Training:

  • Audience satisfaction surveying – benchmarking comparisons to post training data
  • Successful deals for sales presentations and pitches
  • Video analysis of the presenter in areas such as clarity of speech and structure
  • Qualitative 360 degree feedback from colleagues and line management

Telesales Skills Training

  • Mystery shopping
  • Number of meetings/quotes/favourable outcomes converted from conversations
  • Number of calls reaching decision makers, getting past gatekeepers
  • Quality of conversations including accurate product and service descriptions, pitches made and objections handled

What happens if I have less than the recommended number of people who want to do one of your courses?

The recommended number of people per course is a maximum recommendation. In fact a smaller group size means there more time for personal coaching and development from your trainer.

We also do a number of open workshops throughout the year in London and Birmingham. This is where we bring people from different companies/industries together in the same course. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the best options with you.

Do I need to do the course with people in the same industry?

No, our open workshops are designed to suit a broad range of industries and it can actually help to do the course with people from different business backgrounds.
