What Firebrand wanted
As an award-winning IT training company, Firebrand is no stranger to success. They offer best-of-breed courses accredited by all of the big names in the industry and have been doing so for 9 years. Sales Director David Davies asked Natural Training to observe the sales team in action for 2 days, pick up on any points to improve then work with the team to make the changes necessary. We were given no specific areas on which to focus, just a simple brief: help us improve!
What Firebrand received
One of the Natural Training sales trainers, Paul Owen, gathered the team together for 30 minutes at the start of each day to introduce the aims of the training and to hear what the team wanted to achieve. He then joined the team on the sales floor to listen to their calls, giving feedback and tips where relevant. When appropriate, he took people off the phones for 1-2-1 private sessions to work on particular skills. At the end of each day, the team came together again to share feedback on the day and plans to put new techniques into action.
What happened after the training
September 2010 saw the highest sales figures achieved by Firebrand in their successful 9-year history. Our training with them took place on 6th and 7th of September 2010.
