Triage Services is the UK’s leading independent IT repair and refurbishment specialist. Alex Prior is four months into his new role as Sales Executive, having previously worked in the warehouse team. He will now be calling prospective clients daily, selling Triage’s wide range of services and solutions.
Alex recognises that selling over the phone is a big challenge – excellent first impressions are an absolute must!
Aside from having outstanding product knowledge, Alex needs to be confident during all of his calls. He needs to engage clients within the first 10 seconds and develop conversations that move in the right direction – he wants to avoid the cliché of people picking up the phone and thinking “oh no, not another one!”
In order to for him to stand out and make an impression, Alex attended our Complete Telesales Skills workshop on the 28th October 2010.
Alex was extremely happy with the outcomes of the course. He is now more confident, assertive and memorable – he is flying past gatekeepers, opening up conversations to their full potential and getting to the close!
The next step for Alex will be to move his way up to be part of the Brokering Team – we are sure he’ll get there fast!
