Telesales Tip: Virtual Business Cards

When you meet people, you give them a business card so that they don’t forget you and can contact you.

When we meet people on the telephone, we sometimes wait 2-3 days or longer until they hear from us again.  By which time they could have forgotten us among the other companies they have called for a quote.

So, we need to drop them a note, instantly, to say something like:

Subject: Telesales Training (this is so s/he can find it later on)

Hi Hannah,

Thanks for your call just now – really enjoyed speaking with you.

This email is so that you have my contact details. I’m putting together your information right now and I will have it to you shortly!
